Patients who already understand what you do.
People come to Symvana because drops aren’t working. By the time they ask for a specialist, they’ve learned how IPL, thermal pulsation and prescription drops work, and many have completed a Dry Eye Profile. We introduce them to clinics that test before they treat.
What partner clinics get
Patients who arrive informed
Our guides explain dry eye types, treatment options and realistic costs, so patients arrive knowing what an evaluation involves and what treatment might cost.
Context before the first visit
Where a patient has taken the Dry Eye Profile, their introduction includes their likely type, symptom load, what they’ve already tried and the treatments they’re interested in.
A listing that means something
Symvana grades treatments by evidence and never sells grades. Being a vetted partner signals that you practice evidence-based dry eye care.
Founding partner plans
We’re opening the network area by area, with a limited number of clinics in each. Clinics that join now keep their monthly rate for 12 months, whichever plan they choose. Month to month, cancel anytime.

Our vetting criteria
Every clinic is checked against the same standards before we introduce a single patient. Partners must:
- Be led by a licensed optometrist or ophthalmologist
- Measure before treating, with tests such as tear break-up time, osmolarity, staining or meibography
- Offer more than one treatment approach
- Provide written treatment plans with costs
- Respond to introduced patients within two business days
Partnership never influences our editorial content or evidence grades. Our editorial standards.

Questions from clinics
How are patients introduced?
Patients request a specialist through our form and consent to their details being shared with a clinic near them. We email the introduction to your nominated contact, with the patient’s situation, interests, insurance and, where available, their Dry Eye Profile summary.
Is this pay per lead?
No. Partner plans are a flat monthly fee that never depends on the number of patients introduced, booked or treated. We can’t guarantee a particular number of introductions.
Do patients know you’re a paid partner?
Yes. We tell patients that partner clinics pay a flat fee to be in our network, and we tell each patient which clinic they’re being introduced to before sharing their details.
How should we contact introduced patients?
Only for the appointment they asked about, and only by the methods they gave us. Patients can ask not to be contacted at any time, and you’re responsible for following the laws that apply to your calls, texts and patient records.
Can partnership affect your reviews or grades?
No. Our evidence grades and guides are written independently of any commercial relationship, and we don’t sell placement in editorial content.
Which areas are open?
We’re opening areas based on patient demand. Apply and we’ll tell you whether your area is open, and how many patients from it have already asked for a specialist.
